May 2023
Dear circular economy community,
The ECESP is evolving, and new priorities have been set. The Coordination Group, which consists of 24 members representing various circular actors, will lead the platform for another 2,5-year mandate. Their primary focus in 2023 will be on the textiles, bioeconomy and construction sectors. Leadership Groups are smaller configurations where the members can delve into specific topics and hold #EUCircularTalks with other stakeholders. Watch this video of the EESC’s Vice-President, Cillian Lohan, explaining the importance of circular economy and how it is all about people. Catch him at the upcoming Circular Economy Hotspot in Dublin from 29 May to 1 June where he will lead the ‘Social Enterprise’ workshop and the ACR+ General Assembly on 31 May.
