February 2025

Dear Circular Economy Community,

Welcome back! With a number of major events dedicated to the circular economy coming up, the ECESP is busy getting ready. Its Coordination Group met at the end of January to discuss arrangements for the 2025 annual conference. As you know, this year EU Green Week will focus on Circular solutions for a competitive EU and our annual conference will take place from 3 to 5 June in conjunction with it. A warm-up event will be held on 10 April with a stakeholder dialogue on the Clean Industrial Deal, the bioeconomy and the Circular Economy Act, and this will feed into our annual conference at EU Green Week. We're still working on the programmes but will keep you posted!

The ECESP will also be present with activities at the WCEF2025 in mid-May, as well as the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, where we will organise eight sessions, including a high-level debate on circular diplomacy, towards the end of September.

As always, we urge you to contribute content: the ECESP is a bottom-up initiative so do let us know about your circular initiatives!
