June 2025

Dear Circular Economy Community,

Welcome back! Our EU Green Week Stakeholder Day on 5 June was definitely one of the highlights of the year for the ECESP. Jointly organised by the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative and the ECESP, the event featured plenary sessions, workshops and thematic stands. Participants were able to hear what policymakers had to say, listen to and put questions to experts in the field, and get together at the stands to meet other members of the circular community over a coffee or lemon water. The session recordings are now available so do have a look.

As announced during the Stakeholder Day, the ECESP is getting ready to select a new Coordination Group. The European Commission has launched a call for applications and the deadline is 30 June. Do you think your organisation would be a good fit? Then go ahead and apply!

Last but definitely not least, the next EU Circular Talk will take place on 25 June and look at Mainstreaming Circularity: Empowering Citizens for the Transition. You can find more information on it below: don't forget to register!

Thanks for being part of our growing community and enjoy the latest updates!
